De Novo Health Care offers several low-cost or no-cost programs and a sliding fee scale for individuals and families with limited income. Eligibility is based on family income and family size. Certified Enrollment Counselors are available at our health centers to help you apply for Medi-Cal, Covered California, or other health insurance programs. DVCC also offers enrollment assistance into special-need plans for individuals with Medicare and Medi-Cal. Medicare-only HMO plans are also available.

Through our programs and services, preventable diseases are drastically reduced; the worry homeless individuals and families have about where they can receive health care is no longer necessary; and the struggle to provide a family with healthy foods is reduced. Do I qualify for...

Medi-Cal?

Medi-Cal is a free or low-cost health coverage for children and adults with limited income and resources. Medi-Cal covers low-income adults, families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, children in foster care as well as former foster youth up to age 26, and pregnant women.

Covered California?

Covered California is the place where Californians can get brand-name health insurance under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

My Health LA?

My Health LA is a no-cost healthcare program for people who live in Los Angeles County. It is for people who are age 19 and older and whose family meets certain income levels. My Health LA is free to individuals and families who do not have and cannot get health insurance.
